The heating and ventilation system of our classic Volkswagen was not a modern system for those days either. Even a simple fan was only introduced in the 1970s, and then only on the more luxurious versions, so a fresh breeze was based 100% on the propelling wind on most models.
Areas where heating and ventilation flows inwards are usually equipped with grilles or finishing edges.
