Product description
The name Cal-look comes from the fashion that originated in California in the 1970s. The most important element was to finish the exterior as sober as possible, eliminating or completely removing anything that might have been distracting. The engine and interior, however, had to be completely accented with lots of chrome and shine.
So these Cal-look rubbers are right in line with this trend, no possibility of mouldings or even a groove for the moulding that was normally used originally when they came out of the factory without mouldings.
Cal-look rubbers do not have pre-formed corners, so they can press less hard into the corners. In general, Cal-look rubbers are of lower quality and will need to be replaced sooner than standard rubbers or rubbers with a moulding.
The assembly only works if there are two of you, one pushing the window into the rebate and the other slowly pulling the cord or string from the inside between the rubbers. where the stricord g meets, overlap it a little. This will make it easier later when you pull the window in.
Note: Use only glycerine and no other lubricants such as grease, soapy water, multi-spray or other agents when assembling, as this will damage the rubber and after one year cracks will already appear in the corners. No warranty is possible if it is proven that other agents have been used.
