Product description
Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all made for a particular model, but are universally used. These parts are identified by the part number starting with the "N" of Normteile, or standard parts.
Now you would think that these standard parts can be found at any hardware store, but Volkswagen didn't make it that easy. They may be standard parts that are mass-produced for various applications, but most of them are not common and thus cannot be found on the shelves of the hardware store.
The sheet metal screws listed here have a countersunk head with saw cut and are made of stainless steel. If you want the screw head to look like chrome you can polish it to a high gloss. The size : 4.8 x 19 mm.
