Westfalia is still closely linked to Volkswagen to this day, Volkswagen has never marketed campers itself. In addition, many other companies have professionally transformed the Bus into a motorhome, but Westfalia has always been the largest.
Each specific Westfalia part could be ordered from the VW dealer, which was not possible with all the other brands that have turned the Volkswagen Bus into a motorhome.
In the Bay Window Bus, the first cabin window (left or right) was equipped with a three-panel ventilation window to eliminate cooking odours, which could remain open at night and in case of absence.
During a complete restoration, the Westfalia side window will also need to be restored. But don't worry if a part needs to be replaced or is no longer present, the most important parts are still available. The button that opens and closes the windows is available in the three colours used by Westfalia at the time: dark grey, black and cream.
