Product description
To prevent rattling, creaking and squeaking, the seat of the cab bench and the seat of the double-cab pickup are fitted with stop rubbers or slientblocs. In the case of the cab bench seat, there's no logic as to the exact number of rubbers - just count them and order the right number. For the rear seat of the double-cab pickup, the number of rubbers is set at five.
The backrest rests on four larger stop rubbers, which are screwed to the rear wall using screws and washers (not supplied).
The stop rubbers used for the VW Bus seat were also used between the body and the steering column of the Volkswagen Beetle and Karmann Ghia, again to prevent the creaking and squeaking of steel on steel.
On the Beetle, Karmann Ghia and VW Bus, these stop rubbers have in most cases been lost over the years. If this is your case, it's time to restore this detail too.
