Product description
The successor to the horn cap is the horn ring which was used by VW until the early 1970s, after which came the so-called safety steering wheel with a black plastic cap. The horn ring differed from all other brands with an equivalent horn control, it was a half moon instead of being completely round, although it was available as an additional option for the type 3.
Most horn rings have been damaged over the years by corrosion or have suffered other forms of irreparable damage, so replacement is often the best solution. This replacement horn ring is chrome plated like the original and comes without mounting hardware and cover, please add these parts to your order (see options tab).
