Product description
Between the chassis and the body are rubber blocks or pads in several places to prevent squeaking and creaking from torsion. These blocks are located at the height of the rear seats and were used on sedan models until 1966 and on convertible models until the end of production.
With the model change in 1967, this location was removed for the sedan version. On the convertible version, this mounting point remained until the end of production. The cabriolet had much more twist due to the absence of the metal roof, so this extra mounting point was kept on the cabriolet models.
During a full restoration, you will find that these rubber blocks have faded over the years or are no longer present. These rubber spacers are identical to the originals of the time, so they have the right thickness.
