Product description
The wiper blades of well-known brands, which were also used by Volkswagen at the time, don't always come with the right mounting clips for our classic Volkswagens today.
For this reproduction, a new SWF original part was used as an example. The result: new wiper mounting clips identical to the original SWF model.
Note on Bosch wiper blades and reproduction:
The wiper blades supplied today often have a thicker mounting shaft than that used by Volkswagen for SWF and Bosch at the time. To continue to use this clamp, it needs to be slightly drilled, following the steps below:
- Fit the clamp into the wiper arm, without the wiper blade.
- Measure the diameter of the wiper blade shaft.
- Drill the clamp to the correct diameter.
- Remove the clamp and snap it onto the wiper blade.
- Slide the assembly onto the wiper arm.
