Product description
The fuel tank cap of the Volkswagen Bus until 1966 is equipped with a lock that opens with a universal square key. At that time, it was not necessary to seal everything tightly. However, Volkswagen had planned this by making the engine hood and access to the fuel tank lockable, even if it was with a key that could be used on any VW Bus.
Few VW Bus models have a tank cap lock that is still in good condition, rust has made it necessary to replace it.
This complete lock is equipped with a chrome exterior (rosette) and a lock closing flap and a seal between the rosette and the fuel filler flap (also available separately). The square key is not included, please add it if necessary.
