Product description
Rubber has limited resistance to temperature variations. With proper maintenance, you can keep it for a long time, but over time, the aging process will continue.
If these parts are present in the engine compartment, they must seal properly, it can have serious consequences for your engine if the rubber is hardened. Check all fittings at each service and replace them if hairline cracks are visible.
This rubber reducer was used on the Mexican 1600cc engine for the carburetor underpressure system, on the VW Bay Window Bus for the tank vent on the air filter and on the VW Vanagon for the air filter and vacuum connection to the distributor.
