The Volkswagen Split Bus comes standard with storage space under the dashboard. After the model change in 1967, this practical storage space was no longer available. This created a new range of options for the accessory market, even through the dealer you could purchase a storage rack as an additional option. Most shelves don't have dividers, so your stuff slides from left to right at every turn, it's completely different with this shelf. There are various storage compartments for small and large items, including two cup holders.
The support is made of black profiled plastic (ABS), it is composed of two parts which, once assembled, are joined together with a central part through which the handbrake is guided, which also keeps part of the handbrake mechanism out of sight.
Delivered without mounting material. Two bolts with nuts and washers plus 4 screws are enough to assemble the whole.
Note: This holder is not suitable for Volkswagen DeLuxe Bus models that are equipped with armrests.
