If the engine has more power, or if you occasionally choose rough terrain, the fixed gearbox suspension may be a bit exaggerated.
With this gearbox support, the original suspension rubbers or urethane are used, so that driving comfort is not too much affected and the gearbox is still well attached.
This support is available as a complete package in which the gearbox is nested at the rear and front.
If you have a Volkswagen Beetle after 8/1972, these suspension mounts are the only way to better secure your gearbox. The complete set and rear bracket are supplied with mounting hardware and are fitted with rubber around the brackets to create a safer and more comfortable system.
