The Wirbulator is one of these authentic accessories, it is mounted on the decorative moulding of the front hood and ensures that snow and insects do not fly against the windshield.
The wipers of the time were not very effective, in order to keep the windshield as clean as possible, the Wirbulator was installed. It will works by redirecting the wind flow to keep the windshield cleaner.
Only applicable when using wide moldings as originally installed on Beetles up to and including model year 1966.
