Product description
The cause of a burnt out wiper motor is often due to the mechanism and not the motor. If, over the years, corrosion occurs (mainly between the wiper shaft and its housing), the mechanism jams and the wiper motor burns out.
To counteract this, you may consider spraying the shafts with, for example, several sprays at each maintenance, but the best way is to replace the shafts (listed on the related parts tab); then you won't have to worry about it anymore.
This new wiper motor is equipped with 2 positions and is only available in 12 volts, with a wiper switch in one position; it can also be used by connecting only the fast position.
