Product description
From the 1973 model year onwards, Volkswagen concealed the wiper arm mounting nut on almost all VW models. From then on, the nut was recessed into the wiper arm instead of being visibly mounted on top of the arm.
The wiper arm is secured with a standard M6 nut and a wavy spring washer. The plastic cap listed here provides a neat finish and also helps prevent moisture from entering around the mounting point.
The inner diameter of the cap is also stated as an additional measurement, in case you want to use it for another application.
