Product description
When installing a new headliner, it is glued around the window rebate, then the window rubber is attached to it.
The clamps mentioned here are used to secure the headlining to the edge of the window rebate. They help the glue to dry more easily. The clips are not subsequently removed, but remain in place and eventually disappear under the window rubber. This keeps the headliner firmly in place and prevents it from coming loose.
Officially, these clamps are intended for the rear window, which requires four. However, they can also be used for the windshield, for which a slightly different type of clamp was originally used.
