Product description
On the Volkswagen Split Bus and the earlier Volkswagen Beetle sedans, the vent wing lock is locked to a separate bracket, also chrome-plated. On later models, it was integrated into the vent wing frame post.
Rust and loss of the brackets are the most common reasons why they need to be replaced. The VW Bus brackets are fixed with 4 x 8 mm rivets and the VW Beetle brackets with M4 x 8 mm bolts with B4 washers.
