Product description
When dismantling the vent window, it is necessary to drill or saw through the rivet at the top. On the underside, simply unscrew a nut. The rivet must be replaced, and the fasteners at the bottom cannot be reused in most cases. The metal parts are often rusted, and if the Teflon rings are still present, they are usually so worn that they cannot be reused.
This kit contains all the parts needed to mount the vent window correctly. Supplied as a kit for mounting a vent window.
The nut supplied has an M x 1.25 thread, suitable only for a reproduction vent window. For an original vent window, add the nut mentioned, which has an M8 x 1.0 thread.
