When the Karmann Ghia convertible roof is open, it falls to the rear of the car and the top cover opens without protection. In order to protect the outer soft top and headliner from dust and other dirt, top boots are available that are stretched over the entire unfolded cover, ensuring optimal protection.
In addition to protection, the top boot also has a cosmetic function, the convertible top is carefully wrapped and covered. This will highlight the appearance of these most luxurious Volkswagens.
Many convertible owners are no longer in possession of the original soft top boot that was available from the dealership at the time. If it is still original, it will have lost its beauty over the years.
The top boots are available in high quality vinyl and canvas (fabric), also supplied by original Volkswagen. In terms of colour and material, they are the same as convertible tops. You can choose to keep the boot the same color as the top of your convertible or choose another color to give the open-top convertible a completely different look than when the top is closed.
Supplied with assembly material (push buttons).
