Parts of the fabric that need to be detachable are often fastened with push-buttons. In this case, the push-button is riveted to the fabric, while the corresponding clamp is fastened to the body or another object with a screw.

This set contains not only the push-buttons, clamps and screws, but also the special pressure tool for firmly riveting the two push-button halves together.

These push-buttons have been used from the factory on several Volkswagen models, including :

Beetle convertible
for attaching the convertible top and hood to the body and hinge covers

Karmann Ghia
for attaching the convertible top and hood to the body

VW Vanagon
for fitting a rear windscreen as well as curtains and curtain loops

Type 3
for securing the carpet in the luggage compartment above the engine

Of course, these push-buttons and clamps are also suitable for countless other applications.
