Product description
The tie rod joints are locked in two ways to prevent them from twisting. Depending on the year of manufacture, model and/or type of VW, they can be fixed by means of a clamping bracket tightened around the tie rod with a bolt and nut connection or with a conical washer.
This conical washer is used on the side where the bar is conical. First the conical washer is placed on the tie rod, then you turn the ball joint with the lock nut into the steering bar.
Once adjusted, the lock nut is turned against the conical washer, tightening the assembly.
