For type 4 engines, there is a minimal choice compared to type 1 as far as sport exhausts are concerned, this Superflow exhaust will change that.
The Superflow is, in terms of muffler appearance, the same as the original. It is made of high quality stainless steel, with the double polished high gloss ends pointing to one side. Once the engine is started, the deep, dark sound immediately reveals that this is not an original muffler. The Superflow is therefore unique and belongs to the top segment of exhaust systems available for Type 4.
If you still have any doubts, you will find below all the advantages that make the Superflow so unique compared to the original:
- 100 % AISI 304 stainless steel with high-gloss polished end caps
- fully TIG welded, resulting in a 100 % gas-tight construction
- fits perfectly into the original heat exchangers
- equipped with two M18 x 1.5 connections for mounting lambda sensors
- suitable for type 4 performance engines from 1700 to 2400 cm3
- no obstruction when using a towing bar
Supplied complete with seals and mounting hardware, seals can also be supplied separately.
