Our classic Volkswagen is very limited in terms of ex-works storage possibilities, which is quite different in today's automobile.
Until the 1980s, this was the golden age of the accessories industry. In each car, there was an object that was mounted afterwards so that the various objects that were lying around could be stored.
These wire baskets fit perfectly into the classic Volkswagen interior and, thanks to the choice of colours, you can match them well to the interior.
For the Volkswagen Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and VW Thing, it is a basket placed around the tunnel that not only offers space for various objects but is also equipped with two sizes of cup holders.
Caution: The basket is not placed in the center of the tunnel so as not to disturb the driver, keep this in mind when placing the basket.
For the Volkswagen Split Bus, the basket is hooked into the dashboard grilles and offers the same possibilities as the tunnel basket, although the space for loose items is very limited when the two holes for the cup holders are used.
