The exhaust of our Volkswagen won't last forever, the exhaust replacement will come to everyone at some point. An exhaust will last longer when the car is used a lot, with a small amount of use the exhaust will need to be replaced more quickly. Moisture that accumulates in the muffler is more likely to turn into corrosion during occasional use than when the car is used daily.

If you don't want to worry about rust, and you want an exhaust system that you will probably never have to replace, and the choice is there on the "alternatives" tab, choose stainless steel.

The complete exhaust system consists of more parts than just the muffler. For each part, the related parts are displayed in the "options" and "alternatives" tabs. In the tab "alternatives" you can see if another quality is available, like steel or stainless steel.

With some exhaust systems you have the choice of A- or B-quality, the big difference is in the fit. The A-quality is equal to the original and fits without problems, while the B-quality leaves something to be desired and you will have to make more effort to get it to fit.

Mounting material
Order the necessary mounting material immediately, it is available in sets or as individual parts. The choice of mounting materials is based on the assumption that you will only replace the silencer. If you need to replace other exhaust parts, please check the corresponding part where the mounting materials are also indicated.
