The beauty of Volkswagen is the availability of spare parts, with many other brands you can't get everything separately and you are forced to buy a complete part which makes it unnecessarily expensive. These lock plates, which are tightened on the vertical uprights of the vent window frames of the Volkswagen Bus, are a good example. All you have to do is fold the two tabs to be able to remove the old locking plate, then mount the new plate and tighten it again by pressing the tabs against the bracket.
If you have purchased a new bracket for your vent window, this locking plate is not included, please add it to the list.
This locking plate ensures that the vent window lock is locked and that the vent window closes tightly against the rubber, it is like the original polished stainless steel.
