The M4 countersunk screws listed here are used on all VW models with the engine at the rear for two reasons only. They are used to secure the sunroof pivot mechanism and the sunshade clips on VW Thing models.
They are used to secure the sunroof pivot mechanism and the sunshade clips on VW Thing models. originally, these screws were chrome-plated, which was not intended to shine for these applications, but for conservation purposes. Our screws are identical to the original in size and appearance, but now in stainless steel, which has only improved conservation compared to the original.
