Product description
The two locking hooks on the sliding door hinge are held in the correct position from the factory by a central spring that keeps both hooks under tension.
In order to increase operational safety, Volkswagen overhauled this spring in 1983 from frame number 24-E-037 408 with two separate springs, so that each hook is kept tightened separately.
These springs replace both the single spring and the revised version with two separate springs.
