Product description
In the third generation Volkswagen Bus, the space between the handle and the sliding door is closed by a black rosette which was made of plastic until the 1984 model year, then was replaced by rubber.
To prevent the rosette from damaging the lacquer, the contact area of the door is equipped with a plastic seal that will have to be replaced when repainting.
Between the lever and the rosette is a kind of fabric sealing ring which serves more or less as a bearing for a smooth rotary movement.
In many cases, the gasket and seal ring must also be replaced and it is advisable to order them directly (see Options tab).
