In addition to the standard push rod seals, the most common model is also available in a silicone version.
The flexibility of silicone rubber is several times higher than that of standard VW rubber. In addition, the silicone rubber is wear resistant and can withstand high temperatures. Therefore very suitable for higher power motors where the motor temperature is higher than with a standard motor.
But the most important thing is that they seal much better, so they are not only useful for higher power engines, but for every engine that requires a durable and perfectly sealed end result.
Note: Silicone also has a disadvantage, make sure that the pointed ends of the tubes do not damage the silicone material, once damaged it tears quickly and you have achieved the opposite.
