Product description
The Volkswagen Buses delivered to the USA and Canada had to meet the various legal requirements in those countries. Due to the length of the vehicle, the buses had to be equipped with side reflectors at the front and rear. Volkswagen applied this standard to all VW Buses destined for export countries where these rules applied, starting with the model change in 1967.
If the rear reflectors with the lamp holder are still in order, but the rubber seal that protects the reflector from moisture is no longer present or is so weathered that it can no longer provide protection, there is no need to purchase a complete lamp holder. Simply replace the rubber and your reflector with light is once again protected from moisture.
