Product description
Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all made for a particular model, but are used universally.
These parts are recognizable by their part number beginning with "N", from the German word Normteile, which means "standard parts". It may be a standard part, but that does not mean it is still readily available today.
The parker screws mentioned here were used for several applications, such as mounting the armrest on the door, but also for the door closing handle, as a handle for an extra grip, and for attaching the roller behind which the lock falls to the front seats. For each VW model, it is indicated for what this parker was used.
If there is a number after the year of manufacture instead of a month before the year of manufacture, it is the chassis number from which it was used in the year of manufacture concerned.
