Product description
This rubber is located between the inspection cover and the head of the chassis. This cover not only serves to provide the tunnel with a good inner coating, but its main purpose is to allow the gearshift rod to be installed and removed.
Do not mount the cover without this sealing rubber, as this will allow moisture to penetrate, with all its consequences.
For older Volkswagen models it is a solid rubber and for newer models it is a single-sided self-adhesive foam rubber.
