Product description
The vent window is fitted with a rubber that hooks into the frame. When replacing the glass, the old rubber can no longer be used.
These rubbers are pre-formed which will make mounting a lot easier than if this were a universal piece of rubber. Be sure to apply glycerin to the rubber and the glass (listed on the options tab) before sliding the glass with rubber into the frame, this will make mounting easier.
In order to remove the vent window from the driver or passenger side, the rivet on the upper pivot must be sawn off. Therefore, order a new set of rivets as well, so that you can reassemble the assembly. This does not apply to the VW Bus passenger vent window.
