Product description
A T2 Split was originally only available with original Safari windows for the windshields, as an alternative to air conditioning and only on the most luxurious versions.
If this was possible for the windshield, why not for the rear window? Especially if you use your T2 Split as a camper, an opening rear window provides additional ventilation and comfort.
Although this application was never officially supplied by Volkswagen, we have developed the perfect solution. With this kit you can convert a fixed rear window into a genuine Safari rear window, which ensures a pleasant airflow inside the vehicle, particularly on hot summer days. The frame is made of polished stainless steel and the kit is supplied complete with seals, locks and mounting hardware.
Please note that you should not drive with the rear window open, to prevent exhaust fumes from entering the interior.
