Product description
These U-shaped rubber profiles are located under the roof molding above the door windows and under the molding of the rear side windows.
During driving, there is always a twisting of the bodywork. If the moldings were mounted without rubber, this would cause squeaking noises. This indicates that metal is being struck on metal, the roof molding is damaging the body.
On almost all Karmann Ghia models, this rubber will be dried and cracked. When the molding is removed, reusing the old rubber is not an option anyway. Always fit a new rubber, only then you can be sure that the molding will not be damaged.
If you have to replace or install all the moldings, you will need 4 lengths, keep this in mind when ordering.
