The hoses connecting the injection pump to the injectors are not worth examining on many diesel engines, due to leaks combined with dirt.
Rust is therefore unlikely to occur, and if your pipes are corroded, you're probably dealing with a well-maintained engine where leaks have been repaired immediately in the past.
The pressure line set shown here replaces all metal lines from the pump to the injectors. Whether it's a leak or excessive corrosion, this new pressure line set will enable you to remedy these defects.
