Product description
From the 1986 model year onwards, manually operated windows were gradually abandoned and it was possible to equip your Volkswagen Bus with electric controls. The most luxurious Buses were equipped with them from the factory and for the so-called basic models this could be ticked off on the options list.
The driver's side is equipped with dual controls allowing both the driver's and passenger's side to be operated. The co-driver's side controls are unique, allowing only the co-driver's side to be controlled.
The switches come complete with frame and connectors, with the right angle connector on the co-pilot side and one of the two right angle connectors on the driver side needing to be adjusted.
Replace these plugs with the plugs from your old switches, these are two-pole plugs instead of the three-pole version installed. Connect the wires from connection points 3 and 5 (red/black and red) of the switch to one pole of the plug. This may only be done with the co-driver switch and only one switch with the driver switch. The other three-pole plug on the driver's side remains unchanged.
