Product description
Only the Karmann Ghia was equipped by Volkswagen with gutter strips at the time, with end caps attached to the ends by a parker screw.
For all other Volkswagen models, this was an additional accessory that could only be purchased at the time from the local car dealer and was never officially offered by Volkswagen.
The stainless steel end caps or end pieces mentioned here are clamped onto the chrome moulding, providing an elegant finish to the beginning and end of the moulding.
They are not included with the trim, so if you want a neat finish, you'll have to order them extra.
