Oil leakage between the oil filter support and the engine crankcase is common, although in most situations it is what is known as sweat leakage. Whatever form of leakage it is, there shouldn't be a single drop of oil on your engine, and if there is, you need to fix it.
The oil filter bracket gasket listed here is the same as the original in material and thickness.
