These clips are designed solely for attaching emblems. They are made of plastic to prevent vibration and rattling.
If the emblem is dismantled, the clips usually don't survive, and if you do manage to dismantle them properly, they usually don't work as they should. We therefore advise you to replace the clips, so that the emblem can be mounted securely and without vibration.
