Product description
In the 60s, 70s and 80s, it was normal for cars to have small triangular windows that you could open on hot days without disturbing your passengers. Simply open your window and you will immediately get a reaction from your fellow passengers: "It's drafty, can't you close that window". This is not the case with a vent window and the annoying noise is also absent. The hot air is sucked out of the car while driving, which has a cooling effect.
Over the years, the rubbers that are fitted around the frame become hard and brittle, so there are very few Volkswagens that still have the rubber in new condition.
If the description says that it is a fixed vent window, this means that the window cannot be opened. They were only used on the Volkswagen Bay Window Buses and the VW Vanagon, and only on the entry-level versions.
