For those who think this is a new accessory, you'd be wrong. This luggage rack is a reproduction of the one used by the Danish army to save space.
Of course, this unique luggage rack can also be fitted to VW Thing models intended for other countries, just bear in mind that holes will have to be drilled in the bumper and rear of the body. The carrier can be removed from the brackets and bumper fairly quickly, but this is not necessary for access to the engine compartment, which remains accessible when the carrier is fitted.
It comes with fastening straps that are also a reproduction of the original.
