Product description
If the window crank handle keeps turning while winding the window up, you can assume that the gear teeth of the window regulator are worn to the point where no grip can be achieved. Repair is not possible; the complete window regulator must be replaced.
Before installation, it is important to generously lubricate the gear teeth with lithium grease. The mechanism must be well lubricated in order to operate as smoothly and quietly as possible. Many window regulators fail because they run dry. This significantly accelerates wear. If you install the mechanism dry, you can assume the service life will be greatly reduced.
The window regulators are supplied without the window frame. If the window frame is heavily rusted, we recommend ordering it at the same time (see the ‘Options’ tab).
