Product description
On almost every Volkswagen, a mirror will have been replaced at some point over the years, and in most cases it won’t be just once. Corrosion and damage are the most common reasons for replacement.
The mirrors are supplied as shown. Any mounting parts and/or seals must be ordered separately (see “options” tab).
Note: Be careful when adjusting the mirror. Tighten it only enough so that it no longer moves when closing the door. Overtightening carries a high risk of the mirror breaking. This is not covered under warranty.
Maintenance: It is recommended to treat the chrome parts immediately after installation with a proper chrome protector, such as the chrome cleaner, polish and protector listed in the options tab. This provides protection against external influences. By repeating this regularly, rust formation can be prevented. If this is not properly maintained, it may lead to rust damage over time.
