Product description
If there are problems with intake manifold freezing, it is often due to carbon deposits accumulated in the intake manifold preheat tubes. This can be checked by removing the exhaust and blowing into the preheating tube with compressed air. If air does not pass through, the tube is blocked and the manifold cannot transmit exhaust heat properly. You can try to rid the pipe of carbon deposits again, but often this does not work. The simplest solution is to mount this electric heater on your intake manifold.
This heater is mounted around the intake manifold under the carburetor and connected to the electrical plus terminal of the ignition coil and the other wire to the chassis.
When the ignition is turned on, the intake manifold is electrically heated, which prevents freezing.
Applicable to all standard manifolds and manifolds of large, centrally mounted carburetors.
Only suitable for 12 volts.
