Product description
Clamps around intake manifold air intakes must fit the cavity exactly in terms of width, and have a specific clamping range. This is the only way to guarantee a watertight seal.
Using universal clamps as a replacement can damage the sleeve. It's not for nothing that Volkswagen has developed a specific type of clamp for this purpose.
The terms "inside" and "outside" refer to the position of the collar: the inside is on the carburetor side, the outside on the cylinder head side.
