Product description
This manifold makes it possible to mount a Weber, Dellorto or EMPI twin carburettor in a central position. It's often claimed that mounting a central carburetor is impossible, but the opposite is true. All that's required is the correct adjustment of the carburettor, which is not always the case. It should be added that side-mounted carburetors are a better option in terms of handling and power, but on the other hand, a central carburetor is much more economical and delivers more power than the series-mounted carburetor.
The manifold is largely made of aluminum, which helps to retain heat, otherwise the carburetor might freeze during cold spells.
It comes complete with gaskets and mounting hardware. In addition, it is necessary to use the manifold end elbows of a 1600cc Type 1 engine, if you don't have them (1300cc end elbows have an internal diameter too small for the central manifold), you can find them on the "options" tab.
