Product description
It is necessary to change the gearbox oil every 30,000 km, in the meantime it should be topped up with the prescribed oil (SAE 80 W 90).
The fill and drain plugs must be removed with a large hexagonal wrench (17mm), which is not available in everyone's tool box.
This Allen key is made for a 3/8 ratchet or an extension which is practical in every socket set.
The filler plug is to the left of the gearbox and the drain plug at the bottom of the gearbox.
Pay attention! First remove the fill plug and then the drain plug.
This is applicable to all VW models from our range equipped with a manual gearbox.
