Product description
For the 1973 model year, an improvement was made to the pipe connections on the heat exchangers and the Bakelite heating pipe. The direct connections were losing too much heat, and an additional rubber sleeve between the pipes was intended to prevent this.
To ensure a perfect seal, hose clamps must be installed, as was originally the case. Order them in addition if necessary (see "options" tab).
Note: These sleeves can only be used in an original installation. In reproduction stove pipes, you won't find them between the pipe and the heat exchangers.
