Product description
The high beam headlights of the Carat version of the Volkswagen Bus (square headlights) are attached to the base plate with 3 set screws.
The lower screw is screwed into what is called an angle bracket or corner bracket which is riveted to the base plate. If corrosion has done its job, there is a good chance that the thread of the corner bracket screw is broken.
The corner bracket is fixed with rivets, by drilling them out and riveting a new bracket you have repaired the base plate, if necessary you can also replace the adjustment bolt (mentioned on the options tab) and you have a working unit again.
